6.3.5. Removal and installation brake pads

THE NOTE For removal brake pads a brake support do not remove.

Mark brake pads if they are be used repeatedly. They should be established back on the places, differently there will be a non-uniformity of distribution of brake efforts between wheels.

Lift the car.

Remove wheels.

ATTENTION For ceramic brakes sharp contact of a wheel with a brake disk as it conducts to ineradicable damage of a disk is not supposed. For installation / of dismantle of wheels screw in fastenings of wheel bolts two assembly pins from the onboard tool. Thus the long assembly pin is in the uppermost position.

Fix a brake disk a wheel bolt (fig. 6.39).

Disconnect a socket of the index of deterioration brake pads (fig. 6.40).

Unblock socket fixing in an arm a screw-driver and simultaneously turn a socket on 90 (fig. 6.41).

Take sockets upwards and remove a wire.

THE NOTE For removal brake pads a brake support do not remove.

Raise a screw-driver both springs from a directing finger and remove them.

Remove the screw of a directing finger.

Take directing finger from a brake support.

ATTENTION The spring is in the compressed condition and at extraction of a directing finger can cause a trauma.

Remove keeping spring.

THE NOTE Before removal old brake pads press the piston into the cylinder by means of the returnable device. Before cave-in pump out a brake liquid from a tank with a brake liquid by means of capacity for prorolling. Otherwise, in case of the subsequent долива liquids, it can flow out and cause damages.

Take brake pads from the case of a brake support.

For clearing of the case of a brake support use only spirit.

Insert brake pads into a brake support.

THE NOTE Brake колодка with a cable of the indicator of deterioration it is planted inside.

Insert keeping spring into the case of a brake support.

To advance directing finger through a brake support.

ATTENTION After installation of a directing finger it is necessary to press keeping spring under directing finger so that it has appeared compressed. At inadequate installation brake pads do not occupy correct position, and it leads to wrong action of brakes.

Twirl the screw with the demanded moment of an inhaling.

THE NOTE After replacement brake pads and before the first trip some times strongly press a brake pedal. It is necessary that brake pads have occupied the working position.

Fix a socket of the index of deterioration and hang a wire on a dustproof cap and a cap.

Check up level of a brake liquid, if necessary add.
